On a glorious Sunny afternoon, 28th June 2009, members from the Group "manned" the rest point stop in Carlingford for 500 cyclists on their 150 mile journey through the North East. The group kept the cyclists supplied with Bananas, Chocolate & Water at the rest point on the village green. Members of the Group that were present and helped on the day were Robert Browne, Gerry Finnegan, Karen Finnegan, Marie mc Mullan, Tracy Sharkey, Andrew Cullen, May Cullen-Young, Tara & Dearbhla mc Grane, Niamh Gregory, Aoife mc Elrath, Cormac Barry, Mark Barry, Conor Cullen Young, Aoghan Sheelan.
