Following a recent National Council of leaders,
which Gerry, Karen, Marie, Abby & Tracy attended from the Group,
one vital change that is taking place is the age ranges have now
changed. Beaver ages are now, 6,7,8. Cub ages are now 9,10,11. Scouts
are now 12, 13, 14, 15. Venture age is now 16 & 17, with finally
a new age group being formed, 18, 19, 20, year olds being called
Rovers. For all current members of the sections we will not be moving
them back down if there age now falls in a different section. The
change will only apply to all new members joining us, and will gradually
be implemented.
